Building work started

Building work started on the new 10.000 m2 offices and warehouses building.

Building work started on the new 10.000 m2 building that will house the 9500 m2 warehouse and 3 floors of offices for a total of circa 1000 m2. The building will be situated in the same area as the current Grassobbio headquarters but will double the existing space.

 
The work will last about 1 year therefore the new units will be available by the end of 2009. They will be equipped with systems and equipment conforming to the current state-of-the-art technology:

• Fire prevention systems and smoke detectors
• Video surveillance systems and burglar alarms
• Wireless network for RF terminals
• High-speed LAN network

One part of the warehouse will be allocated to the transit and storage of ADR (dangerous) materials which is an important step in the development of a new sector for both logistics and consignments.
