The 160 kWp solar-power system was ordered and will guarantee the company an autonomous energy supply in a world where renewable energy and the environment are foremost.

The 160 kWp system was engineered by Solaris S.R.L. of Monza and will be installed by them in the Grassobbio Intertrasport offices.
The solar panels will be installed on one of the existing shed’s pitched roof which is an ideal position for the sun’s rays.
This system will generate circa 192.000 kWh/per year, therefore covering 90% of the company’s current energy needs and preventing the emission of circa 130 tonnes ofCO2/per year.
The system will be the biggest in Bergamo and one of the biggest in Lombardy.
It will be operating by the end of 2008.
This system asserts Intertrasport’s constant research into new technology and environmental protection.
