Decisive steps:
1967
Intertrasport was launched in Bergamo by a small group of entrepreneurs and thanks to their vast experience, they knew how to combine motor transport with the delivery sector, laying the foundation stone for today’s Company. It mainly focused on the destinations that occupied Italy’s market place during the economic boom that were gradually increasing in importance.
1990
The Company’s growth was such that it moved to the current offices in Grassobbio, situated in a strategic point of the city between Orio al Serio airport, the A4 motorway and the interurban Bergamo axis. The complex was steadily enlarged, eventually reaching its current layout of 20.000 m2 of warehouse and around 1500 m2 allocated to management and operations offices.
End of the ‘90s
Intertrasport was awarded a European research project in the ESPRIT area together with 3 other partners, for the development of innovative software for the management of multimodal transport. This project was the starting point for the creation of the Company’s current computerised system which was totally developed internally.
2001
Intertrasport obtained DNV UNI EN ISO 2001:2000 2004 quality certification and web features that allow customers to make orders and track consignments were introduced.
2006-2007
Documentation Management and Archiving software was developed.

A 160 kWp solar powered system is built over the ware-houses which renders the company autonomous in terms of energy supply in a world where renewable energy and total respect for the environment are of the utmost importance.
